Abstract: Disclosed are a tunable photonic crystal color filter and a color image display device including the same. The disclosed tunable photonic crystal color filter includes: a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; a photonic crystal layer mounted between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an ion spread preventing layer over the surface of at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode. Therefore, according to the present invention, color reproducibility can be improved.
