Abstract: A method for scanning an image is provided to create each image file divided into multiple images from one scan image and to create HTML file with tag information for integration of each divided image by supporting an area division function in scan driver. A pre-scan process pre-scans the image to be scanned(S101). A division mode is performed to divide the pre-scanned image by area into multiple images(S106). The pre-scanned image is area-divided into multiple images according to user's command. And the area-divided image information is stored(S107). According to user's command of scan, each image file is generated on the basis of each of the stored image information, and an HTML file including tag information is generated and stored to integrate the each image file(S109, S110). The stored image file and HTML file are stored at designated storage location. The generated and stored each image file is transmitted to the specified application program for editing by user's command. Each image information has location information corresponding to the divided area of the pre-scanned image.

Abstract: A method and a device for partial scanning/copying with an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) in a scanner driver are provided to prevent a specific area of documents from copying/scanning with the scanner driver by easily inputting security information of the document to an RFID tag and easily treating the information stored in the RFID tag except an outputting time point.
