본 발명은 직교주파수분할 방식 기반의 무선통신 시스템에서 초기 동기화를 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, OFDM 기반의 무선통신시스템에 초기 동기를 획득하기 위한 장치는, 프리앰블 신호를 이용하여 프레임 동기를 획득하는 프레임 동기부와, 상기 프레임 동기화된 수신신호를 FFT 크기만큼 지연시켜, 상호상관을 이용하여 제 1 시간 오프셋 및 부반송파 간격의 소수배에 해당하는 제 1 주파수 오프셋을 결정하는 제 1 오프셋 결정부와, 상기 제 1 시간 오프셋 및 상기 제 2 주파수 오프셋으로 보정된 수신신호에 포함된 프리앰블 코드를 이용하여, 부반송파 간격의 정수배에 해당하는 제 2 주파수 오프셋을 결정하는 프리앰블 식별자 추정부와, 상기 제 2 주파수 오프셋으로 보정된 수신신호에 포함된 프리앰블 신호 및 파일럿 신호를 역랜덤화하여 제 2 시간 오프셋 및 제 3 주파수 오프셋을 결정하는 제 2 오프셋 결정부를 포함하여, SNR이 낮은 환경에서 초기 동기 획득 시간을 크게 감소시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 프레임 동기, 시간 오프셋, 주파수 오프셋, 상호상관, 역랜덤화.

PURPOSE: A cooperative communication method between clusters in a mobile communication system and an apparatus are provided to minimize interference between clusters. CONSTITUTION: A central device receives channel information about a serving sector and first adjacent sectors to the serving sector from the serving sector inside a serving cluster (300). The central device receives a change of an objective function for scheduling depending on whether a blank of the serving sector is present or not from each of second adjacent sectors within adjacent clusters to the serving sector (306). The change of the objective function for the scheduling is a change of an objective function of the second adjacent sectors within the adjacent clusters to the serving sector when the service sector within the serving cluster serves. PURPOSE: A transmission power control apparatus and method thereof in a wireless communication system are provided to control the power of an uplink in consideration with interference. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(601) receives information about interference from a neighboring base station. A calculation unit(603) calculates transmission power using interference information. Interference information shows path loss value which is received from the terminal. The calculation unit includes a judgment unit(605).

PURPOSE: An adaptive MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) selection method and a device thereof are provided to effectively set transmission ratios by maintaining data error ratios. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(210) receives interference strength information from a neighbor base station. An interference level calculation unit(232) estimates interference levels by using the received interference strength information. An MCS assignment unit(234) selects the MCS by using the estimated interference level. The interference level calculation unit extracts the interference compensation value of a current frame by using the interference strength compensation value extracted from a previous frame and the instant interference strength of the previous frame. PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving multiple user-multiple input multiple output resource allocation information in a wireless communication system are provided to increase the amount of resource for the transmission of MU-MIMO data burst by minimizing the amount of resource for the transmission of MU-MIMO resource allocation information. CONSTITUTION: A-MAP IE which is allocated with MU-MIMO resources and classified into users is produced The A-MAP IE is transmitted in the position of one resource allocation location is transmitted as a SDMA(Spatial Division Multiple Access) manner. A MU-MIMO data burst and the produced the A-MAP IE are mapped in the same resource area . The same resource area is subband made of SLRU(Subband Logical Resource Unit). The A-MAP IE is mapped with the subband in a SDMA mode. The MU-MIMO data burst is mapped in the remaining area except for the mapped area of the A-MAP IE.

PURPOSE: An uplink transmission electric power control method and apparatus thereof are provided to control uplink transmission power through downlink path loss and uplink path loss in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: An AMS(Advanced Mobile Station) receives PCDMA allocation from an ABS(Advanced Base Station) in case a response signal about the received initial ranging code indicates a success state(225, 227). The AMS determines the initial value of offset(229). The AMS reports the initial value of the determined offset to the ABS(231).

PURPOSE: A device and a method thereof are provided to remarkably reduce initial synchronization acquisition time in a low SNR environment by using a preamble signal and a pilot signal during a synchronization process. CONSTITUTION: A frame synchronization part(100) obtains a frame synchronization by using a preamble signal. A first offset determining part(102) determines a first time offset and a first frequency offset. A preamble identifier estimating part(106) determines a second frequency offset by using the first time offset and a preamble code. A second offset determining part(110) determines the second time offset and a third frequency offset by reversely randomizing the preamble signal and the pilot signal.
