In a transmission device in a wireless communication system based on a multi-cell comprised of a plurality of sub-cells, the present invention includes: a transmitter transmitting a signal by a sub-cell to the plurality of sub-cells through a plurality of antennas; a receiver receiving uplink control information from at least one terminal located in at least one sub-sell of the plurality of sub-cells; and a controller determining a virtual matrix for each of the plurality of sub-cells, controlling selecting a pre-coding matrix according to the determined virtual matrix, determining transmission mode based on the received uplink control information, and controlling the transmitter to perform downlink transmission by a sub-cell through antennas designated through the virtual matrix according to the determined transmission mode. PURPOSE: A data transmission process and an apparatus thereof in a wireless communication system are provided to efficiently transmit data to a terminal from a base station of the wireless communication system including a virtual transmission port. CONSTITUTION: A digital unit (130) connects virtual transmission ports to multiple sub cells. The digital unit transmits data transmitted from a scheduler (110) to antennas through the virtual transmission ports. The virtual transmission ports mix a control channel and a reference signal for a plurality of the sub cells. The scheduler sets up the transmission mode of a terminal included in the sub cell according to the configuration of the virtual transmission ports connected to the sub cells and the signal strength between the terminal and the sub cell. The data for the terminal is scheduled based on the set transmission mode of the terminal. PURPOSE: A user terminal scheduling method in cellular uplink communication system and base station apparatus are provided to increase capacity of whole networks including an adjacent cell by sharing information that controls interference between cells. CONSTITUTION: A capacity sensitivity about interference of a home cell is calculated(302). The capacity sensitivity about the interference of one or more adjacent cells is collected(304). The capacity sensitivity of the home cell and the capacity sensitivity of the adjacent cell are used. A resource allocation rate is updated according to improving transmission power of a terminal(306). One or more terminals locating in the home cell is scheduled(312).
