Abstract:
PURPOSE: A PET(Positron Emission Tomagraphy) detector module using a GAPD(Geiger mode Avalanche Photo Diode) composed of large-area micro-cells is provided to maintain linearity and to offer high-energy and reaction depth information as well. CONSTITUTION: A PET detector module comprises a PET detector unit(510) and a reaction depth discrimination unit(530). The PET detector unit comprises scintillation crystals which detect gamma ray emitted from a human body, a first GAPD optical sensor(513) which is connected to the scintillation crystals and changes the scintillation into the electric signal, and a second GAPD optical sensor(515) which is connected to the scintillation crystals and changes the scintillation into the electric signal. The reaction depth discrimination unit receives signals from the PET detector unit and compares the amplitudes of the signals of the first and second GAPD optical sensors, thereby discriminating the incidence position of the gamma ray.

본 발명은 광가이드를 삽입한 검출기에 관한 것으로서, 외부로부터 입사된 감마선을 검출하여 섬광신호로 변환하는 복수의 섬광결정들 및 복수의 섬광결정들 사이에 삽입되어, 어느 하나의 섬광결정에서 변환된 섬광신호를 다른 섬광결정으로 분산하여 전달하는 광가이드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 반응깊이 판별을 쉽게 할 수 있으며, 기존 판매되어 사용되는 PET 기기에 섬광결정부를 광가이드가 삽입된 다층 섬광결정부로 교체하여 반응위치 판별가능한 PET으로 쉽게 업그레이드 할 수 있다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for removing a noise of a PET(Position Emission Tomography) signal in a PET-MRI fusion device using a filtering and a PET system in the PET-MRI fusion device using the same are provided to minimize image distortion by obtaining a molecular image without the performance deterioration of a PET detector. CONSTITUTION: A PET output signal is received and a signal is amplified(S510). The amplified PET output signal is converted into a digital signal(S520). An RF noise is digitally filtered by using correlation between the frequency of the PET output signal and an MR RF frequency(S530). A signal is processed for imaging(S540).
