    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method, for sensing using vibratory phenomenon of nano-wire, and a pressure sensor using nano-wire are provided to measure the external force applied in nano-wire. CONSTITUTION: A method, for sensing using vibratory phenomenon of nano-wire, is as follows. The compressive load is applied in a longitudinal direction of nano-wire to vary nano-wire(S10). The nano-wire is made of a metal material and has a single crystalline structure. The vibration of nano-wire is sensed(S20). The signal corresponding to the sensed vibration is outputted. The compressive load applied in the nano-wire is canceled. The tensile strength is applied to the longitudinal direction of the nano-wire in which the compressive load is deregulated(S30). The tensile strength applied in the nano-wire is canceled.
