    Abstract: A concentric-shaped clustering method for efficient energy consumption in a large-scale sensor network is provided to perform routing of data collected on the basis of plural concentric-shaped clusters, thereby preventing delivery of unnecessary data as realizing high energy efficiency. The first to nth concentric-shaped clusters consisting of at least one sensor node(900) are set according to a location of a final data collection node(910). The sensor nodes(900) which constitute each cluster are formed as one chain. Each head node(920) of the formed chain is selected. Merged data is transmitted to the final data collection node(910) through the head nodes(920).
