Abstract: PURPOSE: A ruthenium catalyst, a producing method thereof, an activation method thereof, and a fuel cell containing thereof are provided to secure the high carbon monoxide removal capability at the low driving temperature. CONSTITUTION: A ruthenium catalyst contains an active component including a ruthenium compound in a carrier containing copper-alumina. The ruthenium catalyst is for removing carbon monoxide only from mixed gas containing the carbon monoxide and hydrogen. A producing method of the ruthenium catalyst comprises a step of dipping a ruthenium precursor to the carrier containing the copper-alumina.

Abstract: A preparation method of a catalyst with excellent NOx removing activity and catalyst resistance at low temperatures is provided, and a catalyst for removing NOx prepared by the preparation method is provided. A preparation method of a catalyst for removing NOx comprises the steps of: preparing a mixture by adding a solution containing a manganese raw material to a dispersion into which a support powder is dispersed; adding a precipitant to the mixture to settle and precipitate a sediment; filtering the mixture in which the sediment is settled and precipitated to separate the sediment; and drying and firing the sediment, wherein the catalyst for removing NOx comprises an active material comprising a metal oxide of a formula of MnpOq, and a support for supporting the active material. In the formula, p ranges from 0.01 to 3 and q ranges from 2 to 8. The support is a porous inorganic material. The support has a specific surface area of 10 to 1000 m^2/g.
