Abstract: A linear type vibration motor of horizontal vibration is provided to obtain high vibration by structurally expanding a moving distance of a mover. In a linear type vibration motor, a lower stator(10) and an upper case(20) form an external shape of the vibration motor, and form an inner space when being connected to each other. A mover(30) is installed in the inner space formed when the lower stator(10) and the upper case(20) are connected to each other, and linearly reciprocates to a horizontal direction in the inner space. A magnetic force generating unit(40) drives the mover(30) by interaction of an electromagnetic force of a coil(41) and a magnetic force of a permanent magnet(42). An elastic member(50) provides elastic force to the mover(30) by being installed between both inner surfaces of a corporate body of the lower stator(10) and the upper case(20), and the mover(30). And, a plurality of ball bearings(60) smooths reciprocation of the mover(30) by being installed between the lower stator(10) and the upper case(20).
