    Abstract: PURPOSE: A modular bar-nozzle type non-transferred thermal plasma torch according to uses of composite processes is provided to obtain a high arc voltage by installing an insulating gap material at an intermediate part of an anode nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A modular bar-nozzle type non-transferred thermal plasma torch includes a cathode and an anode. The cathode is formed with a cathode body(3) and a cathode tip(4). The anode includes an internal anode(5) and an external anode(6). The internal anode and the external anode is divided by an insulating material(12). The thermal plasma is generated by the reaction between the anode and the cathode. The modular bar-nozzle type non-transferred thermal plasma torch further includes a cathode gas injection ring(8) formed at a rear side of the cathode and an anode gas injection ring(13) formed at a front side of the insulating material.
