    Abstract: The present invention relates to a coated steel sheet and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a steel sheet whose cover is coated with an aluminum layer and a magnesium layer and a method manufacturing the same. The method according to the prevent invention comprises the steps of: coating a steel plate with an aluminum layer; coating the aluminum layer with the magnesium layer; and heat treating the steel plate coated with the aluminum layer and the magnesium layer to form an aluminum-steel alloy layer on an interface of the aluminum layer and the steel plate. According to embodiments of the present invention, by forming the coating layer of the uniform alloy consisting of aluminum and steel, the adhesion force between the steel sheet and the coating layer is improved, and the corrosion resistance and the mechanical property are also improved.
