Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for treating cartilage damage containing 97 %v/v of moisture is provided to absorb shock by injecting into body, and to prevent dissolution by inflammatory reaction or toxic materials without cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating cartilage damage contains demineralized bone particle (DBP) gel and a costal chondrocyte composition. The DBP is derived from mammalian bone. The particle size of the DBP is 10-300 micrometer. The weight ratio of the DBP is 5-20 wt%. The composition has pH 6-7.
