Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for luring minute stored grain insects which utilizes properties of minute stored grain insects lured with lights or avoiding lights; and a method for determining the lure using the same. Lights cannot reach a dark passage part regardless of the intensity of a light source as the connection of a light passage part and a dark passage part is formed at 90 degrees or less so that the device for luring minute stored grain insects according to the present invention can be compact. Furthermore, the device of the present invention is efficient as a light screen is not to be removed after inputting insects different from an existing device. Also, the present invention is proper to determine optical properties of minute stored grain insects of which reactivity in respect to lights or moving speed is slow. The present invention can provide the result of testing behavior reactions in respect to lights per each LED light source required for controlling sitophilus oryzae causing huge damage to rice when keeping and distributing rice for a long time. Also, the present invention can provide a device and a method for luring capable of determining optimal conditions of frequencies, the intensity of illumination, and emitting time of lights which lure specific minute stored grain insects or which the specific minute stored grain insects avoid.

Disclosed is an insect attractor using an LED. The insect attractor comprises: an LED lamp for emitting at least one of a first light and a second light to attract flying insects; a lamp controller for controlling the LED lamp to control a first lighting time of the first light and a second lighting time of the second light - here, the starting and ending times for the first lighting time and the second lighting time are individually set-; an insect sucking unit for controlling the flow of air to suck the insects attracted by the LED lamp; an insect capture unit for containing the insects sucked by the insect sucking unit therein; and a power supply unit for supplying electric power to the LED lamp and the insect sucking unit. The insect attractor has an insect pest effect by including the LED lamp suitable for attracting and capturing the insects. PURPOSE: An acaricidal composition containing 1-octene-3-ol or a derivative thereof and an acaricide using the same are provided to ensure excellent acaricidal activity with safety and stability. CONSTITUTION: An acaricidal composition contains a Lycopus lucidus essential oil extract, 1-octene-3-ol isolated or purified from the essential oil extract, or a derivative thereof such as 3,7-dimethyl-1-octene-3-ol, 1-octene-3-yl acetate, 1-octene-3-yl butyrate, or 3,7-dimethyl-1-octene compound as an active ingredient. The composition contains 0.01-40 wt% of the compound based on the total weight. The acaricidal composition has an acaricidal effect against Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, or Tyrophagus putrescentiae.

PURPOSE: An acaricidal composition containing quinone compound is provided to ensure excellent acaricidal activity and to easily distinguish by decoloring house dust mite dermatophgoides. CONSTITUTION: An acaricidal composition contains a quinone compound as an active ingredient. The quinone compound is 2,5-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone, 2,6-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone, 2-isopropyl-5-methyl-1,4-benzoquinone, 2,6-dimethyl-benzoquinone, 8-hydroxyquinoline, 1,4-hydronaphthoquinone, 5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, 5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, or 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone. The quinone compound has an acaricidal effect to Dermatophagoides farinae or Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.

PURPOSE: A method for attracting plutella xylostella using LED light source, and a device thereof are provided to irradiate with LED light source having a specific wavelength range and showing a high attraction activity to plutella xylostella. CONSTITUTION: A device for attracting plutella xylostella using LED light source comprises a main body(10) comprising a black foamex material blocking external light, and a portion of accommodating external light. Both side parts(15) of the main body are made of a transparent acryl, the rest parts including a cover(14) are made of the black foamex material. An insect inlet(16) formed to inject insects to the main body, is equipped with a magnetic insect inlet film(17) installed inside of the main body. A diaphragm(12) controls the degree of exposure of the light source irritated through the both side parts. Two diaphragms are formed in the either side based on the insect inlet inside of the main body.
