    Abstract: PURPOSE: A compound for an organic photo-electronic device is provided to have excellent electrochemical and thermal stability, thereby manufacturing an organic light emitting diode with excellent luminance efficiency even in a low driving voltage. CONSTITUTION: A compound for an organic photo-electronic device is represented by chemical formula 1 or 2. The compound has triplet excitation energy of 2.0eV or more. An organic light-emitting diode includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and one or more organic thin film layers inserted between the positive and negative electrodes. The organic thin film layer includes the compound for the organic photo-electronic device. The organic thin film layers are selected from a light emitting layer, a hole transport layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, a hole blocking layer, and combinations thereof.
