Abstract:
PURPOSE: An emergency rescue system and a method for detecting position are provided to transmit an emergency rescue signal to a terminal in remote site within constant distance from the terminal using a zigbee module even in case a rescue request person does not possess the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A zigbee module generates a rescue request signal. A terminal receives the rescue request signal and sends to a central control chamber using conventional communications network. The central control chamber receives the rescue request signal and detects a broad area location using the location of the terminal and dispatches a rescue team. The rescue team moves to the broad area location and detects the location of the zigbee module by directly receiving the rescue request signal generated from the zigbee module.

PURPOSE: A node of a zigbee network for the selection of a parent node, a method for parent node selection, and a reliability model measurement method of the zigbee network are provided to differently apply a reliability model to network configuration according to the installation location of a sensor node and the design of a node. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(140) receives each reliability model of neighbor nodes from the neighbor node. Using a received reliability model, a parent node selecting unit(150) selects one of the neighbor node as a parent node. The parent node selecting unit selects a plurality of candidate parent nodes with an LQI(Link Quality Indicator) and hop for the each neighbor node. The parent node selecting unit selects a node having the greatest reliability of the candidate parent node as the parent node.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for preventing the occurrence of a missing child are provided to continuously check a distance between a location transmitter and a location receiver, thereby preventing a situation of a ward to be a missing child in advance. CONSTITUTION: A location transmitter(10) periodically sends a location signal. A location receiver(20) receives the location signal and determines spaced distance with the location transmitter. If the spaced distance escapes the preset range, the location receiver generates an alarm signal. The location transmitter and the location receiver directly exchanges signals wirelessly in a close distance. The location transmitter is mounted to a mobile phone of a guardian.

PURPOSE: A monitoring method and a system thereof using a danger image to roughly express the danger image are provided to easily perform a feature extraction and determination by displaying the degree of danger in an image obtaining from a monitoring camera. CONSTITUTION: A danger feature information extractor(111) extracts the feature information of the danger image in which the product determined as a risk factor is included. A multidimensional index contracting unit(112) drives a multi dimensional index structure by using feature information. An image database(113) stores the danger image. A danger degree decision manager decides the dangerous grade of the image.

PURPOSE: A method and a system for tracing trajectories of moving objects using a monitoring system network are provided to check a common object in an image transmitted from a monitoring camera, thereby tracking the trajectories of the moving objects. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring network(101) has a plurality of monitoring cameras obtaining an image of an object. An object recognizing unit(102) extracts feature information of the object from an image obtained by the monitoring camera. An indexing unit(103) generates an image indexing structure and a space-time indexing structure based on the feature information of the object. The image indexing structure is a structure for distinguishing the object. The space-time indexing structure shows time when an image of the object is obtained.

A VOD(Video On Demand) service providing method and a recording medium for recording a program thereof are provided to manage a bandwidth of a content server efficiently in consideration of the number of terminals which request or receive a VOD service. A VOD service providing method comprises the following steps of: providing VOD streaming data responding to a VOD service request from one or more terminals(100)(S540,S550); computing an optimum transmission mode by using preset correlation; and converting a current transmission mode into the optimum transmission mode if the current transmission mode between a content server(130) and the terminal is different from the optimum transmission mode(S520). The correlation uses one or more terminals connected to the content server, a bandwidth assigned to the content server, and a payment policy.

PURPOSE: A method and system for pursuing a lost child are provided to supply the location of a lost child and save system building costs and operation costs. CONSTITUTION: A lost child pursuing system(100) comprises end devices(110,111), a first coordinator(120), and a second coordinator(121). The end devices operate an end device of a zigbee protocol. A child has the end device. The first coordinator and an end device make a pair and function as a coordinator of a zigbee protocol. Parents have the first coordinator and the end device. The remaining protector except the first protector has the second coordinator. The end devices participate in a network that the second coordinator forms when the communication between the first coordinator and the end devices is disconnected.
