Abstract: The short fiber, composed of microfiberils and whose tensile strength is 5-30 g/den., elastic rate 200-1500 g/den., a highly-oriented fiber property, that is, angle of orientation by X- ray diffraction being below 25≦̸, an excellent dispersibility and paper-forming property, that is, distribution of thickness being 0.1-50 m, distribution of length 0.1-50 mm and a specific surface area 3-30 m2/g by nitrogen adsorption method, consists of: liq. crystalline polyester copolymer, of forming temp. of anisotropic melt-phase of 200-400 deg.C, and of mol. wt. of 2,000-100,000, which is composed of 20-80 mol of para-hydroxy benzoic acid and 20-80 mol of aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid.

Abstract: Spinless acryl staple fiber is prepd. by gel crystal that can directly make fiber from raw material and voluntarily form high molecular orientation and fiber structure. The obtd. fiber has the orientation ratio of 80-97 % by XRD and the length distribution of 5-500 mm and the thickness of 5-500 m and the thickness ratio to length of 100-10,000 and the tensile strength of 10-70 kg/mm2 and the modulus of 300-1500 kg/mm2 and the elongation of 5-20 %.

Abstract: The method for the production of a whole aromatic polyamide polymer of formula (III) (x = 0.05 - 0.5; y = 0-0.5) is characterized by polycondensing an aromatic diamine with an aromatic dibasic acid chloride in the polymerization solvent obtd. by dissolving an alkali metal salt into a tertiary amide solvent, and adding an aromatic tertiary amine as a reaction accelerator into the mixed solvent. The aromatic diame is pref. 3,5-diaminobenzophenone of formula (I) or a mixt. of (I) and methaphenylene diamine. The dibasic acid chloride is pref. isophthaloyl chloride, the alkali metal salt is lithium chloride or calcium chloride, and the tertiary amine is pref. pyridine, picoline or quinoline. The polyamide polymer is used in the mfr. of a heat-resistant transparent film for a circuit board, an insulating plate and a transparent protecting plate.

Abstract: A whole aromatic copolyamide polymer of formula of (A) or (B) is prepared by low temp. polycondensation of N,N'-bis(4-amino phenyl) terephthalamide of formula (I) with the mixt. comprising the isophthalic acid chloride and terephthalic acid chloride in the alkali metal solution of the tertiary amide solvent, in the presence of the tertiary amine acid collecting agent. In the formulas, X is mol ratio of isophthalic acid chloride with N,N'-bis(4-amino phenyl) terephthal amide, and is 0.12-0.9; Y is mol ratio of terephthalic acid chloride with N,N'-bis(4-amino phenyl) terephthalamide, and is 0.88-0.1.
