Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and a thin film multichannel micro electrode for measuring an EEG(Electroencephalography) of a laboratory animal are provided to obtain a functional brain image by collecting a broadband EEG signal from a skull for a laboratory animal. CONSTITUTION: A micro electrode includes a ground electrode, four record electrodes and a connector. Four record electrodes are arranged on both sides of a central line with a leaf vein. Each record electrode includes a contact point and a connection line. The area of the contact point is 0.1 to 100 mm^2. The thickness of the micro electrode is 1 to 1000 um. The connector connects a ground electrode and a record electrode to a signal obtaining device.
Abstract:
A visceral pain measurement system and a measuring method thereof are provided to facilitate measurement of small animals such as a mouse by implementing the small and wireless measurement system. A visceral pain measurement system includes a magnet(11), a hall sensor(12), a signal processing unit(14), a signal transmitting unit(15), and a power supply unit(16). The magnet is attached to one side of the abdomen of a laboratory animal. The hall sensor is attached to an opposite side to the side where the magnet is attached. The hall sensor measures intensity of a magnetic field generated by the magnet to measure a relative distance to the magnet. The signal processing unit amplifies or digitally converts a signal of the hall sensor. The signal transmitting unit transmits the processed signal of the hall sensor to the outside. The power supply unit supplies power to the hall sensor and the signal transmitting unit.
