Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for transmitting low noise light signals with a low noise multi wavelength light source, a device for transmitting a broadcasting signal using a low noise multi-wavelength light source, and an optical subscriber network with the same are provided to generate a plurality of light oscillated at different wavelengths by one light source when an optical subscriber network uses a low noise multi wavelength light source. CONSTITUTION: One wavelength division multiplexer/inverse multiplexer(412) is connected to each of a plurality of LMLS(Low-noise Multi-wavelength Light Source)s(422,423,424). The wavelength division multiplexer/inverse multiplexer is made of one input terminal and N output terminals. Output lights of the LMLSs are incident on the output terminal of the multiplexer/inverse multiplexer. Spectrum division of the output light is performed. The divided optical signals are multiplexed in each of the multiplexer/inverse multiplexer. The multiplexed optical signals are outputted to an input terminal.

본 발명은 분배망에서 발생하는 광선로 장애의 자기 복구가 가능한 광 가입자망을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 분배망에서 발생하는 광선로 장애의 자기 복구가 가능한 광 가입자망에서는 각각의 광종단장치(OLT) 및 가입자장치(ONT)의 광송수신기 조합의 앞단에 1x2 광 스위치, 또는 가입자장치(ONT)의 광송수신기 조합의 뒷단에 복수개의 1x2 전기 스위치 또는 이너넷 스위치가 제공된다. 이들 스위치는 분배 광케이블에 장애가 발생하면 스위치의 상태를 바꾸어 장애가 발생하지 않은 분배 광케이블을 통해 신호가 전송되도록 한다. 그 결과, 분배 광케이블 상에서 장애가 발생하더라도 각 가입자에게 상하향신호가 제공될 수 있다. 광 가입자망, 분배망, 광선로, 자기 복구
Abstract:
A method of assigning wavelength bands for broadband transmission is provided to increase the number of subscribers and enable the broadband transmission by using a WDM-filter as maintaining the infrastructure of an existing subscriber loop network as it is. An existing SMF and the cyclic property of AWG within a WDM-PON are used. One or more third wavelength division multiplexer filter(WDM3) and one or more fifth WDM filter(WDM5), for combining or separates the A-band and or from B-band, are respectively added to the rear ends of the cyclic first AWG and the cyclic second AWG which are positioned at an OLT and RN. Therefore, the B-band can be used as the new transmission band.

A wavelength band combining and separating device having three input/output ports is provided to add a wavelength band for new bidirectional transmission as receiving an existing wavelength band transmitted in both ways through an optical transmission path of one line, therefore high application can be accomplished. Two random input/output ports of three ports consist of the first edge filter for separating an X-band less than the first wavelength and an Y-band more than the second wavelength among wavelength bands of transmitted light, and the second edge filter for separating an X-band less than the first wavelength and an Y-band more than the second wavelength among the wavelength bands of the transmitted light. The remaining one port of the three ports consists of a CWDM(Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing) filter for separating more than one Z-band of the third wavelength range within the Y-band more than the second wavelength.
