    Abstract: PURPOSE: A crosslinked polymer electrolyte composite membranes using supports modified by pretreatment is provided to ensure excellent hydrogen ion conductivity and high durability and to save manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing crosslinked polymer electrolyte composite membranes comprises the steps of: (a) dipping a porous hydrocarbon membrane in an acid solution and hydrophilizing the specific area of a supporter by stirring them at 40~60 °C for 3~5 hours to preparing a modified porous polymer supporter; (b) impregnating a mixed solution consisting of sulfonic acid-containing aliphatic liquid monomer, acrylamide-based cross-linking agent and initiator in the modified porous polymer supporter; and (c) laminating the impregnated porous polymer supporter between PET films and performing photo-crosslinking.
