PURPOSE: A power line communication (PLC) association method for charging an electrical vehicle and a PLC modem for the same are provided to improve accuracy of an association between a PLC modem and a power supply system charging an electrical vehicle for supporting a high-speed data communication using PLC between the power supply system and the electrical vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An electrical vehicle receives an inband association message from a power supply system, to which the electrical vehicle is connected, through an inband communication using a predetermined cable assembly (S802). The electrical vehicle transmits an association request message to the power supply system based on the received inband association message for starting a power line communication (S804). The electrical vehicle starts the power line communication by performing an association with the power supply system based on a response message to the association request message from the power supply system (S806). PURPOSE: A power line communication (PLC) modem for charging an electric vehicle and a power line communication system for the same are provided to offer a PLC modem enabling a high-speed data communication between an electric vehicle and an electric vehicle charging system, thereby providing overall monitoring of a charging process, charging state information, safety requirements, and various services for users. CONSTITUTION: A PLC modem included in an electric vehicle charging system to charge a battery for an electric vehicle through a cable assembly from a power charging system, comprises a PLC physical layer (301), a PLC medium access control (MAC) layer (302), a network layer (303), and a transmission layer. The PLC physical layer is coupled with a power supply terminal or control pilot built in the cable assembly to deliver a PLC signal. The PLC MAC layer generates an association message for initiation of PLC between the electric vehicle and the power charging system. The network layer is connected to the PLC MAC layer and a convergence service access point (SAP) to deliver data received from the power charging system to an upper layer. PURPOSE: A wireless pyrogenic stent for extending and closing a blood vessel is provided to generate heat with an induction heating method by supplying energy to a digital yarn through a wireless electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION: A stent(21) includes an outer support(31) and an inner heating element(32). The outer support is woven with a cylindrical net and is closely adhered to the lesion of cavity of a human body. The diameter of the outer support is reduced by an external force. The inner heating element is fixed to the inside of the outer support and is formed with a digital yarn by coating the inner metal with bio compatibility materials.

PURPOSE: A system for monitoring single elderly persons' living situations and a method thereof are provided to judge based on the variation in the usage of collected energies whether or not the energy used by a single elderly person exists in order to check whether or not the single elderly person is safe. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring device(130) collects the amount of energies used at home. If the information on the amount of the energy is provided, a health state predicting system(140) judges depending on the variation in used energy amount whether or not the electronic devices(110) turned on/off by a user are used. The information on used energy amount includes the information on power usage, gas usage and water supply usage. The health state predicting system calculates the variation in the power usage.

PURPOSE: A self-configuration method for a PLC-based home network is provided to enable a pre-participated node to generate an address in order to supply an address through an address response packet. CONSTITUTION: An address request packet for which a first node requests an address is broadcasted to a home network to be participated. The highest priority second node among the nodes that receive the broadcasted address request packet creates a unique address. The second node creates an address assignment packet including the created unique address. The second node transmits the created address allocation packet to the first node.

An earth leakage breaker for a power communication line and a breaking method thereof are provided to implement indoor power line communication network stably by minimizing branch in a line for power line communication and cutting off a high frequency noise. A power line and a line for a power line communication are branched in a distribution board connected to a main cable. An earth leakage breaker(21) is installed in the line for the power line communication and the power line. A high frequency cutoff filter(25) cuts off the high frequency generated in the earth leakage breaker of the power line. The high frequency cutoff filter is integrated with the earth leakage breaker of the power line.

A method of self-configuring a network and a computer readable recording medium therefor are provided to have superior mechanism in physical environment by power line communication, thereby increasing usability in home network application by using a low speed home network technique. A node a sets up its own node identification value and its own node depth as 0(S260). The node a sets up a node sending a response packet as a parent node(S270). The node a produces its own network address based on information of the parent node which is included in the response packet that the parent node sends.

An apparatus of high efficiency wireless power supply using dual frequency bands is provided to allow a user to make a receiver small by making antenna and filter with a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). In an apparatus of high efficiency wireless power supply using dual frequency bands, a dual band antenna(10) has the circularly polarized wave or the dual polarization. A pair of narrow bandpass filters(20a,20b) is matched to the dual frequency band of the dual band antenna. Rectifiers(30a,30b) rectify each frequency signal passing through the narrow bandpass filter, and a capacitor(40) stores the rectified signal from the rectifier. A DC-DC converter(50) converts the voltage level of the signal stored in the capacitor into the fixed constant voltage. The narrow bandpass filter, quarter wave transformer filter, is installed at the PCB(60).
