Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for processing an MAC(Media Access Control) of a wireless mobile terminal unit is provided to process an MSDU(MAC layer Service Data Unit) created in a physical layer in an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) bus control system, so as to efficiently operate an MAC function. CONSTITUTION: A transceiving FIFO(First In First Out)(311) temporarily stored data for transceiving. An MAC(Media Access Control) frame generator slave(306) converts data into an MAC frame, and converts an IP packet into an MAC frame. An external shared volatile memory(312) receives the dump of necessary contents from an external non-volatile memory(313), and stores an IP packet. An external shared volatile memory control slave(307) control the read and write of the external shared volatile memory(312). The external non-volatile memory(313) stores firm-ware data for an MAC processing unit. An external non-volatile memory control slave(308) control the read and write of the external non-volatile memory(313). A system bus interface control master(302) supplies interface between an external system bus and the MAC processing unit. A CPU master(301) converts frame information stored in the external shared volatile memory(312) into an IP packet. A DMA(Direct Memory Access) control master(303) enables contents of the transceiving FIFO(311) to be stored in the external shared volatile memory(312), and transmits contents of the external shared volatile memory(312) to the transceiving FIFO(311) passing the MAC frame generator slave(306). And a slave decoder(305) selects the slaves(306-310) necessary for MAC processing.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for estimating a moving path using light communication in real time. A server contained in the apparatus for estimating the moving path in real time of the present invention is configured to comprise an agent management unit to set agents and clients; a server communication unit to receive the management information of the agents according to a preset monitoring period; and a path prediction unit to predict a predicted path of the moving path of the clients based on the positional information of the clients tracked through a position determination apparatus having a light communication device and an image capturing device from the agents, which is included in the management information.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for estimating a dimming level, a method for processing a visible light signal, and an apparatus using the same. The method for processing the visible light signal according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving the visible light signal including at least one pulse; estimating a pulse width of the visible light signal; estimating the dimming level of the visible light signal using the estimated pulse width; and demodulating the visible light signal using the estimated dimming level.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a DMX-VLC address processing method using a DMX-512 network and an apparatus using the DMX-512 network. According to the present invention, the DMX-VLC address processing method comprises: a step of receiving a DMX-512 packet; a step of determining whether the DMX-512 packet is included in a light step data using a start code of the DMX-512 packet; a step of processing the light data using an address recorded in the DMX-512 address unit of the DMX-VLC address included in the DMX-512 packet when the DMX-512 packet is included in the light step data; and a step of executing a non-light data process using the address recorded in the DMX-VLC extension address unit of the DMX-VLC address when the DMX-512 packet is not included in the light step data.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for transceiving packets for traffic distribution, and an access point and a terminal apparatus using the same. The access point according to the present invention includes a wireless LAN communications module; a visible light communications module; and a traffic distribution unit to confirm a characteristic of a packet to be transmitted for determining whether the packet is a control packet or a data packet, to classify and transmit the packet using the wireless LAN communications module when the packet is the control packet or a data packet of low capacity, to classify and transmit the packet using the visible light communications module when the packet is a multi-media or a data packet of high capacity.
