    Abstract: PURPOSE: An augmented reality display system for a vehicle and method thereof are provided to make a driver recognize navigation information displayed through a display device and actual front images displayed through a front window into a body. CONSTITUTION: An augmented reality display system(400) for a vehicle comprises a head front display device(410), an eye position tracking camera(420), a front camera(430), a head front display device control unit(440), an image calibration unit(450), and a display unit(460). The head front display device uses a transparent window arranged between a front window and driver. The eye position tracking camera traces the movements of an iris of the driver. The head front display device control unit performs at least one among an angular conversion, forward and backward movements, upward and downward movements, left and right side movements of the heat front display unit. The image calibration unit calibrates an object of the head front display device with respect to the object of an actual view displayed shown through a front window based on the position of the iris of the driver and front images. The display unit displays information on the head front display device.
