Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for selective discovery using a customer category in a device-to-device (D2D) communication service are disclosed. A method of selectively discovering service providing devices that provide services via D2D communication using a mobile communication network comprises the steps of: receiving, by a server for managing information about the service providing devices, information about a user equipment from the user equipment; verifying whether the user equipment corresponds to a preset customer category using the received information about the user equipment based on a service customer category table comprising information about a customer category that is the information about the user equipment provided with the services of the service providing devices; and selectively transmitting information about the services provided by the service providing devices to the user equipment based on a verification result.
Abstract:
A method for point-to-multipoint direct communication among devices in a mobile communication system is disclosed. The method for point-to-multipoint direct communication among devices comprises: a step in which a device that intends to provide a device-to-device communication service via a mobile communication network transmits service information including an identifier of the said service and bearer type information to a mobility management entity (MME) which manages mobility of D2D communication terminals; a step in which the MME allocates an identifier of a bearer, to which data of the terminal is transmitted, based on the service information and transmits the identifier of the bearer and the identifier of the service to a base station; a step in which the base station allocates wireless resources for point-to-multipoint direct communication to the terminal based on the identifier of the bearer and the identifier of the service; and a step in which the base station transmits information on the allocated wireless resources for point-multipoint direct communication to a terminal that intends to receive the service.

PURPOSE: An MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service) reception method is provided to receive desired services by changing carriers according to the ability of a base station or a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal periodically receives MIB(Management Information Base) and an SIB(System Information Block)(S402). The terminal receives SIB13(S403). When an initial connection is terminated, the terminal receives MCCH(Multicast Control Channel)(S404,S405). The terminal selects MBMS channels(S406). When the terminal is able to receive the specific channel, the terminal is established in the selected channel as MTCH(Multicast Traffic CHannel).
Abstract:
A method for handover between proxy domains is provided to support the network-based mobility when a terminal which uses only IPv6 protocol moves between proxy domains without the request for an additional function. A second proxy domain transfers a connection request message for a terminal to an authenticating unit of a first proxy domain(S105,S110). An admission message including a first local mobility anchor address for a first local mobility anchor is received from the authenticating unit(S120). A proxy binding update request message is transmitted to the first local mobility anchor by using the first local mobility anchor address(S130). When the proxy binding update completion message is accepted from the first local mobility anchor, the first proxy domain and a tunnel are set up(S140,S150).
Abstract:
A paging controller in a wireless network is provided to enable a control station connected with a mobile terminal to tunnel packets to the paging controller when the terminal is transferred to an idle mode, so that the paging controller can conduct control for paging packets. An idle mode terminal manager(510) monitors data packets transceived to a mobile terminal transferred to an idle mode, manages whether a paging trigger for the terminal is generated, and manages a tunnel formed between a control station and a paging controller(500). A paging request manager(540) receives location information of the terminal from a location server(600) to deliver the information to the manager(510), and manages so that the terminal is paged via the control station based on the location information. A packet monitor(520) monitors packets transceived to the terminal through the managed tunnel, and outputs packet information of the packets. A routing controller(550) changes routing setup so that the packets going toward the terminal is tunneled to the control station, and outputs a control signal so that the stored packets are routed through the formed tunnel.

An apparatus and a method for performing charging session management of a mobile communication system are provided to accurately charge a user by managing a charging sub-session state by reflecting a change in service flow information of the user. A charging database(313) includes a charging session management table that manages collected charging information after dividing it to a charging session and at least one charging sub-session according to the charging session. A charging session management unit(316) manages the charging session by allocating charging session information in accordance with the start of charging to the charging session management table. A charging sub-session management unit(317) manages the charging sub-session by adding charging sub-session information in accordance with adding of a service connection to the charging session management table.

본 발명은 무선 휴대 인터넷 시스템에서의 방송형 메시지 전송 방법에 관한 것이다. 무선 휴대 인터넷 시스템에서 패킷 액세스 라우터는 단말의 등록이 완료되면 상기 단말이 관리 모드 또는 비관리 모드를 사용하는지 확인하고, 비관리 모드를 사용하는 경우 예정된 동적 서비스 연결 절차를 수행한다. 이 때 생성된 연결을 통하여 MIP(Mobile IP) 등록 혹은 DHCP(Dynamic host Configuration Protocol)에 의한 주소할당 절차를 수행한다. 주소 할당 전의 단말은 방송형 IP 메시지만을 수신할 수 있는 상태이기 때문에 MIP와 DHCP 메시지는 방송형 IP 메시지로 송수신한다. 이 경우, MIP 혹은 DHCP 방송형 메시지의 효율적인 전달을 위하여 기지국과 패킷 액세스 라우터간의 메시지 전송 방법은 제어 메시지를 사용하는 방법과 단말의 임시 사설 주소 사용에 의한 메시지 전달 방법을 이용하여, 기지국과 패킷 액세스 라우터간에 메시지를 전송한다. 따라서, 비관리 모드를 사용하는 이동 단말의 MIP 절차 수행시 발생되는 많은 방송형 메시지를 유니캐스트 메시지로 변환할 수 있어, 패킷 액세스 라우터와 기지국간의 휴대 인터넷 망의 효율이 향상된다. 휴대 인터넷, Mobile IP, DHCP, 비관리 모드, 방송형 메시지 전송

본 발명은 휴대 인터넷 시스템의 과금 데이터 수집 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 휴대 인터넷 시스템에서 과금 데이터 수집 항목을 세분화하여 정의하고, 패킷 액세스 라우터가 서비스 시작과 함께 서비스 세션에 따른 과금 시작을 한 후, 일정 시간을 간격으로 액세스 포인트로부터 과금 데이터를 수집하여 중간 과금을 하며, 과금 종료에 따라 마지막 과금 데이터 수집을 하고 해당 서비스 세션을 종료하는 시작 과금, 중간 과금, 종료 과금 절차에 따라 과금 데이터 수집을 하여 세밀한 과금 정보 수집이 가능하도록 한다. 또한, 휴대 인터넷 서비스를 이용하는 사용자의 이동성에 따른 액세스 포인트 간의 핸드오프가 발생할 경우에도 패킷 액세스 라우터가 일괄적으로 과금 데이터를 핸드오프 이전의 액세스 포인트와 핸드오프 후의 액세스 포인트로부터 수집하여 인증 및 과금서버로 전송함으로써, 과금 신호 발생을 줄이고 효율적인 과금 데이터 수집을 할 수 있도록 한다. 휴대 인터넷 시스템, 패킷 액세스 라우터, 액세스 포인트, 과금 서버
