Abstract: PURPOSE: A satellite performance monitoring system and method thereof are provided to compensate frequency response features for satellite repeaters by using variation rates of signals according to weather conditions. CONSTITUTION: A satellite communication control unit(100A) transmits a reference signal and test signal to a satellite repeater(200). A satellite performance monitoring apparatus(100B) creates the test signals and the reference signal. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compensating Doppler transition frequency in a non-geostationary satellite orbit mobile communication system is provided to reduce the complexity of a frequency synchronous circuit device required from a receiving mobile terminal and easily receive signals by performing accurate and prompt frequency synchronizing with electric calculation. Instantaneous Doppler transition frequency is predicted by using the estimated location of the receiving mobile terminal(S550). A prediction error is compensated by applying appropriate weight to the predicted instantaneous Doppler transition frequency(S560).
