Abstract: PURPOSE: A network virtualization system and a method thereof are provided to virtualize network resources based on vitualized network state information, thereby flexible managing the network resources. CONSTITUTION: A context aware server(200) comprises an integrated interface unit(210) and a virtualization information generator unit(250). The integration interface unit receives contextual information of a terminal, user profile information, and network information. The virtualization information generator unit generates the virtualization information through at least one of the contextual information and user profile information and the network status information. The virtualization information comprises the allocated network resource information.

Abstract: A method and a system for providing a mobile terminal oriented context aware service are provided to provide a proper service, to which context information about a user and the surrounding environment changed in real time is reflected, though a special sensor is not installed at the mobile terminal. A system for providing a mobile terminal oriented context aware service includes a sensing oriented unit(102), a service oriented unit(104) and a mobile terminal(106). The sensing oriented unit collects and processes environment information of a specific area, physical body information of a human or an animal or physical property information of life commodities. The service oriented unit, such as an electronic information home appliance and an information unit, collects and processes context information derived when an independent service is provided. The mobile terminal includes an integrated interface for being connected to the sensing oriented unit and the service oriented unit and provides a context aware service on the basis of the collected context information and a stored user profile. Communication between the sensing oriented unit and the terminal or the service oriented unit and the terminal uses near field radio communication technique like mobile communication, bluetooth, wibro or zigbee.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method for providing a context-awareness service using a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) are provided to broaden a service application range by adaptively providing a service according to service capability of a mobile terminal of a user. An environment sensor unit(235) senses environment information around a user. A situation information collecting unit(240) collects state information of the user sensed by a sensing unit having a plurality of sensors through a WPAN module(245) and collects the environment information around the user sensed by the environment sensor unit(235). A user agent unit(255) transmits situation information including the state information and the environment information to a service server that provides service contents corresponding to the situation information, and provides the service contents corresponding to the situation information received from the service server to the user.
