Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting length of cyclic prefix are provided to simplify the structure of a detecting apparatus by simplifying the conventional CP detection scheme. CONSTITUTION: An autocorrelator(100) outputs the results of autocorrelation by autocorrelating as much as CP(Cyclic Prefix) length at a position of CP. An integration unit(200) accumulates the results of autocorrelation for various repeat length. A size calculation unit(300) calculates the size of the accumulated value.
