Abstract: PURPOSE: A digital multimedia broadcasting recording system for including meta-data and a method thereof are provided, which can offer the segment data coincided with AV when playing the recorded DMB AF file. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting stream processor(102) processes the received broadcast stream. A meta-data processor(104) processes the received meta-data. A meta-data converter(105) changes the processed meta-data according to the filmed time. A DMB AF generating unit(106) transforms the processed broadcast stream and the changed meta-data into the DMB AF(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting Application Format) file.

Abstract: A broadcast system for providing a local casting service based on ip tunneling and a method for executing the system are provided to discriminate plural data services regardless of the type of a DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) system by using an IP address to a narrowband DMB data channel. Abstract: A news package service based on TV-anytime metadata collected from RSS(Rich Site Summary) is provided to collect news contents at one time from new sites using the RSS and process and collect TVA(TV-anytime) metadata from RSS information about separate news contents simultaneously, thereby minimizing resources required to collect contents and produce metadata. An apparatus(100) for providing a news package service based on TVA metadata collected from RSS comprises an RSS manager(140), an RSS collector(130), and a metadata service provider(150). The RSS manager sets conditions for collecting RSS data. The RSS collector collects the RSS data of a RSS format from a RSS service provider using the set conditions, converts the collected RSS data into TVA metadata, and generates and stores a news package based on the TVA metadata. The metadata service provider transmits the news package through a channel.
