Abstract:
PURPOSE: A smart card system using viewable information is provided to generate a secret key for security communication and block illegal use by smart card forgery according to a user authentication key. CONSTITUTION: A smart card(20) converts viewable information which is printed on a smart card surface by using random variable. A smart card terminal(30) scans the viewable information of the smart card. The smart card terminal obtains the image information related to the scanned viewable information. The smart card terminal converts the obtained image information by using random variable.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A smart card and a transaction performing method thereof are provided to reduce the number of EEPROM records while securing data integrity. CONSTITUTION: A RAM(Random Access Memory)(113) includes a transaction buffer space. A memory managing unit(115) prevent the change of the RAM according to storing log data in the transaction buffer space of a volatile memory. If transaction is completed, the memory managing unit copies the transaction buffer space of the volatile memory in the nonvolatile memory.

PURPOSE: An NFC(Near Field Communication) smart phone and electronic passport reading method using the same are provided to read an electronic passport through an NFC function. CONSTITUTION: A camera(110) obtains personal identification information by recognizing MRZ(Machine-Readable Passport) information. An NFC unit(120) generates an authentication key from the MRZ information through the camera. The NFC unit reads out security related data from the electronic passport. A security memory(122) stores the authentication information for identifying an electronic passport.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A system and a method for reading smart card using read binary command are provided to transmit a data of available quantity through expansion of data call command. CONSTITUTION: A terminal calls a data from a smart card by the transmission of a data capacity designation command(200). The smart card divides the data by the processing capacity of the transmission buffer. The smart card transmits the divided data to the terminal(210~230). The terminal processes the divided data in order at a receiving buffer. The terminal collects data in total.
