Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition of color shifting ink for intaglio printing is provided to have an excellent color changing effect, and to have excellent high rate printability, thereby preventing forgery and distinguishing genuine from the counterfeit. CONSTITUTION: A composition of color shifting ink for intaglio printing includes a color-changing pigment; a urethane modified alkyd varnish; a first alkyd varnish; a second alkyd varnish; filler; additives; and solvent. The color-changing pigment consists of a partial reflective layer, a dielectric layer, and reflecting layer. The reflecting layer is chrome. The color-changing pigment is laminated in order of a partial reflecting layer/dielectric layer/reflecting layer/dielectric layer/partial reflecting layer. The urethane modified alkyd varnish has an acid value of 30-35, viscosity of 300-400 poise (25 °C), and a weight average molecular weight of 20,000-25,000. Abstract: PURPOSE: An offset printing ink composition is provided to have various properties capable of many-color printing on both sides at once, and to have excellent chemical durability, thereby capable of remarkably reducing damages of an ink layer against chemicals. CONSTITUTION: An offset printing ink composition comprises 5-35 weight% of pigment, 55-85 weight% of rosin modified phenol series varnish, 5-15 weight% of high-viscosity aliphatic solvent, 1-3 weight% of drier, and 0.1-5 weight% of surfactant. The weight average molecular weight of the rosin modified phenol series varnish is 500,000-700,000. The composition additionally comprises rosin modified phenol series varnish of which weight average molecular weight is 150,000-200,000. The content of the varnish of which weight average molecular weight is 150,000-200,000 is 30-60 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the varnish of which weight average molecular weight is 500,000-700,000.

A water wiping type intaglio ink composition having magnetic and infrared ray-absorbing properties comprises an infrared ray-absorbing pigment, a magnetic pigment and a color developing agent. The infrared ray absorbing pigment is a poly-crosslinked phthalocyanine-based compound. The infrared ray-absorbing pigment has a lamda(max) of 800-900 nm and is used in an amount of 1-3 wt% based on the weight of the total composition.
