    Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is provided to function as the fixed bed catalyst of both an ordinary fixed bed reactor and a multichannel reactor which generates reactions at a high space velocity. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst with a dual particle structure includes center particles and an outer particle layer(2). The center particles are made of heat transferring materials(1). The heat transferring materials are selected from a group including metals, metal oxides, ceramics, and a mixture of the same. The outer particle layer surrounds the center particles and is attached to the surface of the center particles by a binder material layer(3). The outer particle layer is composed of a support and powdered catalyst particles containing metal particles. The powdered catalyst particles are supported on the support. The heat transferring materials are selected from a group including SiC, alumina, alundum, silica, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and a mixture of the same. The support is selected from a group including alumina, silica, zirconia, titania, and a mixture of the same.
