Abstract:
본 발명은 신규한 공중합체를 함유하는 제조가 용이한 겔 고분자 전해질 조성물 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 겔 고분자 전해질 조성물은 화학식 1로 표시되는 DMAEMA- co -MMA 중합체를 포함함으로써 이온전도도, 경화력 및 전기화학적 안정성이 우수하고, 액체 전해질에 대한 용해도가 뛰어나다. 또한, 고분자 경화를 위한 라디칼 개시제를 추가적으로 사용하지 않아도 되므로 제조가 용이하고, 경화력 및 전지의 충·방전 특성이 우수하므로, 이를 포함하는 겔 고분자 전해질 조성물은 리튬 이차전지용 전해질로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
Abstract:
Provided is a functional additive for an electrolyte, which inhibits the reaction heat generated from side reactions between a cathode and an electrolyte, and thus improves the quality of a battery while maintaining the battery quality. The electrolyte comprises: (a) an electrolyte salt; (b) an organic solvent; and (c) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by the following formulae (I) and (II). In formulae (I) and (II), each of R1, R2 and R3 represents independently H or a C1-C6 lower alkyl; R4 is a single bond or the formula (a); X is -O- or -OC(O)O-; each of n and m is an integer of 0-1000; each of p and q is an integer of 0-20, with the proviso that p and q cannot represent 0 at the same time; r is an integer of 1-6; each o i and j is an integer of 1-1000; and s is an integer of 1-20.
Abstract:
Provided is an electrode using a crosslinkable polymer, which imparts improved safety to a battery while not degrading the quality of the battery including high-rate discharge characteristics. The electrode includes a coating layer of a crosslinkable polymer formed on the surface of electrode active material particles while maintaining a pore structure formed among the electrode active material particles interconnected to each other in the electrode. The coating layer of a crosslinkable polymer is present as an independent phase on the surface of the electrode active material particles and a binder that allows the electrode active material particles to be interconnected and fixed to each other.
