또한, 스위치 방식의 노브를 사용함으로써, 운전중 사용자가 용이하게 하여 도어를 개폐시킬 수 있어 편의성이 향상된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A locking device of a glove box is provided to enhance outward appearance in a vehicle room by allowing a hooking projection to be inserted into and withdrawn from a hooking hole by pivoting of an actuating rod by a knob and the resulting expansion and contraction of the actuating rod. CONSTITUTION: An operating rod(12) is installed inside of a cover(10) near the upper end thereof of a vehicle glove box. Upon rearward rotating the body bracket with the body, the receiving case of the console box is opened. When rotating the cover, the coil spring makes the fixing member move smoothly.
