Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차용 커튼 에어백의 조립구조에 관한 것으로서, 커튼 에어백 팽창 초기의 에어백 부피의 변화에 따라 헤드라이닝 및 프론트 필러트림을 효과적으로 함께 밀어주는 동시에, 상기 프론트 필러트림의 완전한 이탈을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
이를 위해서, 본 발명은 커튼 에어백과 프론트 필러트림을 연결수단을 이용하여 기존과 동일하게 차체 패널에 연결함에 있어서, 상기 프론트 필러트림 및 연결플레이트 사이에 고정부재를 통한 조립을 배제하고 대신에 커튼 에어백의 전개 압력이 고정부재없이도 헤드라이닝 및 프론트 필러트림 전체에 골고루 분산될 수 있는 구조로 형성되도록 함으로써, 에어백 전개시 프론트 필러트림이 차체 패널에서 완전히 이탈되지 않게 되어 탑승자의 안전성 향상에 기여할 뿐만 아니라, 고정부재의 사용을 배제하므로 원활하게 전개 가능한 동시에, 커튼 에어백의 단품 가격을 절감시킬 수 있는 자동차용 커튼 에어백의 조립구조에 관한 것이다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure for operating a curtain airbag is provided to deploy the curtain airbag actively at a side collision of a vehicle by placing an injection-molded rib with the cut groove between the curtain airbag and the head lining. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag(20) is deployed at a side collision of a vehicle to protect a passenger, and an injection-molded rib(40) is placed between the curtain airbag and a head lining(30). A cut groove(45) is formed in the injection-molded rib and composed of a V-shaped section. The cut groove of the injection-molded rib is formed for the curtain airbag, and the injection-molded rib is contacted to the curtain airbag. The airbag is expanded according to the control signal of the airbag operation unit, and the lower part of the head lining is opened by expansion of the airbag.
