PURPOSE: A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery increases the deintercalation-intercalation rate and improves the reversible capacity and the cycle performance of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of Na4Ti5O12 includes a step of coating a titanium dioxide particle with a carbon material; and a step of mixing the titanium dioxide particle with a sodium salt and heat-treating the mixture. The carbon material is selected from graphite, hard carbon, soft carbon, and a combination thereof. A negative electrode active material for a secondary battery includes the Na4Ti5O12 and has a BET surface area of 10-500 m^2/mg. PURPOSE: A liquid electrolyte for a lithium metal battery is provided to form a stable protection film and to prevent the formation of dendrite, and to improve the electrochemical performance of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A liquid electrolyte for a lithium metal battery comprises a lithium salt and a non-aqueous organic solvent including 1,3,5-trioxane, 1,3-dioxsolane, and fluorine-based cyclic carbonate. The amounts of the 1,3,5-trioxane, the 1,3-dioxolane, and the fluorine-based cyclic carbonate are respectively 5-60 vol%, 10-80 vol%, and 5-30 vol%, based on the total weight of the non-aqueous organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: Ionic liquid contains a compound of chemical formula 1. The ionic liquid is a compound of chemical formula 3-1, a compound of chemical formula 3-2, or a combination thereof. The gel polymer electrolyte contains: the ionic liquid containing ammonium-based cation and anion with a hydrophobic functional group; a polymer matrix; a non-aqueous organic solvent; and lithium salts.
