    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled solid agent having excellent form stability and permeability to water, by kneading a powdery static shattering agent with water and a resin soln. soluble in a volatile org. solvent and molding the product. CONSTITUTION:2-50pts.wt. at lest one resin selected from among vinyl acetate resin, PVA and PS is dissolved in 100pts.wt. volatile org. solvent comprising at least one monohydric alcohol selected from among methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, etc. to obtain a resin soln. A static shattering agent is kneaded with water and the resin soln. The product is molded to obtain the titled expandable solid agent for shattering. The slid static shattering agent is kneaded and mixed with water or water and a static shattering agent to obtain a slurry. An opening on an object to be shattered which has been previously bored is filled with the slurry so that the amount of the slurry is 40-80% based on the volume of the opening.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To crush a rock or the like efficiently, easily and safely, by kneading a static crushing agent powder using an org. solvent to form a solid agent, inserting the solid agent into a fill hole, which has been formed in the material to be crushed, in the presence or absence of water and, if the solid agent is inserted in the absence of water, pouring water into the hole. CONSTITUTION:A static crushing agent powder [e.g., Blister (trade name)] is kneaded with an org. solvent to form a solid agent. The solid agent is inserted into a fill hole, which has been formed in a material to be crushed (e.g., rock), in the presence or absence of water. When the solid agent was inserted into the hole in the absence of water, water is poured therein, thereby statically crushing the material by taking advantage or the expansion pressure caused by the crushing agent. Examples of the org. solvent include methanol, ethyl ether, ethylene glycol, acetone, etc. The previous solidification of the static crushing agent according to the present invention not only enables more easy handling of the crushing agent than the conventional method but also can avoid a locally concentrated filling of the crushing agent in a crevice etc.
