Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control method of a high voltage, which uses a high insulating resin made tube such as a 'Teflon(R)' tube for a coating material joint as a means for preventing metal bridge phenomenon in an electrostatic gun and is free from the interruption of the coating work and the operation of abnormality release every time the metal bridge phenomenon is generated by the existing state even in the case of prolonging a coating material flow line between an electrode, on which high voltage is applied, and a grip part of a just near earthed material. SOLUTION: At the time of intermittently stopping only the output of the high voltage when over current state exceeding a regulation current value previously set by detecting current flowing from the electrode 12 to the grip part 11a is generated and automatically starting again the out put of the high voltage after a set time, the output of the high voltage is automatically irregularly stopped not to start again when the overcurrent state is generated equal to or above previous set times per unit time.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve increase in danger caused by high voltage charging, a large size and increase in weight by coping with voltage resistance strength of an electrostatic coating machine, by controlling an output by inhibiting the high voltage charged in electrostatic coating to a voltage always required and to realize coating excellent in safety and handling/operation. SOLUTION: In feed control of electrostatic coating high voltage, the high voltage is fed to a charging electrode 2 of the electrostatic coating machine 1 and coating deposition efficiency to an object to be coated 8 is enhanced by static electric force. The fed voltage is restricted to the required voltage value or less to control the output against the output of a high voltage generator 3 for outputting a discharging current from the charging electrode 2 at the required voltage when the current value does not arrive at the discharging current. The fed high voltage is controlled by a primary power source output voltage of the high voltage generator 3. The required voltage is -30 to -70 kV and the preferable current required is 80 to 150 μA. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray gun equipped with a pressure detection means which does not affect normal use, so that an operator can always recognize a correct pressure at hand because appropriate control of air spray pressure is required in order to carry out stable painting. SOLUTION: The spray gun equipped with the pressure detection means is provided with a means to introduce the pressure to a part connected to an air passageway of the spray gun(receiving the pressure). The means is kept shielded from the outside in normal use. The means is opened with a measuring instrument at the time of measuring the pressure and the pressure is measured with communicating air. When the measuring instrument is disconnected, the passageway is closed. Moreover, the pressure is detected and indicated by installing a built-in pressure sensor facing the air passageway and exposing the takeoff terminal of the sensor on the outside of the spray gun, and by retrieving sensor data by contacting the takeoff terminal at the time of the measurement. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray gun with which a painting defect is eliminated by enabling work with stably high paint quality by giving correct and easily viewable pressure display to the spray gun and the reduction of a paint used is realized and an environmental pollution is prevented. SOLUTION: A pressure display module of the digital display in which a detection part, a converting part and a display part are unitized is used as a pressure display unit which carries out the correct display at hand for operating the spray gun. The pressure display unit is freely attached to and detached from a spray gun body. An adapter without a pressure display function and fitted to the shape of a spray gun body grip part is freely attachably and detachably attached thereto, and the selective use of the pressure display function is enabled. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coater provided with a electric supply frequency control device capable of automatically controlling electric supply frequency so that the consumption of current passing in a high voltage boosting circuit is equal to or below a fixed value. SOLUTION: The electrostatic coater includes a high voltage boosting circuit 201 disposed in an electrostatic spray gun and rectifying high frequency low voltage to generate DC high voltage for electrostatic coating, a high frequency low voltage generating device 1 disposed as an other body separated from the electrostatic spray gun and formed to generate high frequency low voltage, a low voltage cable 3 for connecting the high frequency low voltage generating device to the high voltage boosting circuit, a current detecting means 111 for detecting current value corresponding to the intrinsic consumption of current in the high voltage boosting circuit and a frequency control means 107 and 112 for controlling the frequency so that the current value detected by the current detecting means is equal to or below the fixed value.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus which prevents the action of an operator to keep an electrostatic spray gun unconsciously apart from an optimum position for coating during electrostatic coating. SOLUTION: When a load current which changes approximately in proportion to the change in a spray distance is detected, and the load current is equal to or below the threshold which is the maximum load current within an optimum range of the spray distance, the operator is informed by the lighting of an alarm lamp or an alarm sound that the spray distance is out of the optimum range.
