Abstract: Process for the bulk colouring of paper with pigments and fixing agents, where the pigment and the fixing agent are added simultaneously to the paper mass to be coloured and a cationic fixing agent is used as the fixing agent in a quantity of 0.01 to 3.0% by weight, based on the dry paper mass to be coloured.
