    Abstract: 1352255 Substituted uracils BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 25 Aug 1971 [25 Aug 1970] 39781/71 Heading C2C Novel compounds of formula where R 1 is linear or branched alkyl with 3-6 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl with 5 or 6 carbon atoms, R 2 is Br or Cl and R 3 is alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms, or R 2 and R 3 together form a chain of (CH 2 ) n where n is 3-5, and R 4 is unsubstituted crotonyl, or branched chain saturated acyl with not more than 8 carbon atoms optionally substituted by 1-3 halogen atoms (Br or Cl) and/or by acyloxy with 2-8 carbon atoms which in turn may be substituted by 1-3 Cl atoms, may be prepared by reacting the R 1 R 2 R 3 substituted uracil with the R 4 chloride. The compounds are herbicides.
