    Abstract: The invention relates to a sandwich component consisting of at least two construction panels which are spaced apart from one another and are arranged substantially parallel to one another, a polyurethane foam core being arranged between the spaced-apart construction panels, wherein the ratio of the highest measured compressive modulus of elasticity of the polyurethane foam in a spatial direction, which is oriented parallel to the construction panels, is less than 1.7 with respect to the compressive modulus of elasticity of the polyurethane foam in a spatial direction oriented perpendicularly to the construction panels. For production of the sandwich components, a mixture of (a) at least one polyisocyanate component, (b) at least one component comprising at least one multifunctional compound which is reactive to isocyanates, and (c) at least one propellant according to the high-pressure injection method are introduced into a cavity between spaced-apart construction panels. The method enables the production of sandwich components, the foam core of which exhibits reduced anisotropy while having good insulation values.
