    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for separating at least one first material from a mixture containing said at least one first material and at least one second material, comprising at least the following steps: (A) bringing the mixture containing at least one first material and at least one second material into contact with at least one surface-active substance, optionally in the presence of at least one dispersant, wherein the surface-active substance bonds to the at least one first material; (B) optionally adding at least one dispersant to the mixture obtained in step (A) in order to obtain a dispersion; (C) treating the dispersion from step (A) or (B) with at least one hydrophobic magnetic particle so that the at least one first material, to which the at least one surface-active substance is bonded, and the at least one magnetic particle attach; (D) separating the attachment product from step (C) from the mixture by applying a magnetic field in order to obtain the attachment product and a mixture M1 depleted of the attachment product, and repeating the steps (A) to (D).
