Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only improve heat durability but also enable maintaining of stable wettability from the start of the use of the tire to a late phase even if the base rubber were to be exposed at a later stage of tire wear, for a pneumatic tire with a tread having a cap rubber and a base rubber, in which the base rubber is exposed at a later phase of tire wear. SOLUTION: A joining position between a cap rubber layer and a base rubber layer at a land portion of a tread is higher than the groove bottom of the tread. tanδ at 0 deg.C (tanδ (0 deg.C)) and tanδ at 100 deg.C (tanδ (100 deg.C)) of the cap rubber layer and the base rubber layer meet the relationships below; tanδ (0 deg.C) of cap rubber layer ×1.05 tanδ (100 deg.C) of base rubber layer.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition high in productivity and workability and capable of improving the physical properties of a (un)vulcanized rubber by employing a specific kneading method, a specific compounding method and the like. SOLUTION: This method for producing a natural rubber composition comprises kneading a rubber component containing TSR (technical standard rubber) natural rubber for a prescribed time in the first step for mechanically kneading the rubber component, and subsequently adding a filler and other rubber chemicals to the kneaded product and kneading the mixture to obtain the rubber composition containing the TSR natural rubber in the second step. Therein, in the first step, 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component is mixed with 0-10 pts.wt. of carbon black among 30-90 pts.wt. of all fillers to be compounded and with 0-2 pts.wt. of an antioxidant among 0-10 pts.wt. of all antioxidants and subsequently kneaded. Thereby, polymer gels contained in the TSR natural rubber can be reduced to provide the objective composition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve cut resistance and the like by setting 100% moduli and breaking energy values of respective buried rubber layers on the outer most layer of belt plies on the tread part side and on the neighboring layer thereof, and relation between these, respectively into ranges of specific numeric values. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire has a belt composed of plural numbers of belt ply layers between its tread part and a carcass ply. In this case, 100% modulus of buried rubber on a belt ply layer neighboring on the outermost layer of belt plies on the tread part side is set to 30-80kg/cm and breaking energy to 250-650kg/cm .% respectively. Moreover, 100% modulus and breaking energy of buried rubber on the outermost layer of belt plies are respectively set to 50-90%, and 120%, or more with 100% ratio against the above mentioned neighboring layer. Thereby, it is prevented that a cut 2 generated in the tread rubber 1 progresses along the outermost layer 3 of belt plies so as to cause separation.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure customer trust by filling nitrogen gas into a tire with effi ciency and enabling an accurate visual grasp of the concentration of nitrogen gas during and after filling into the tire at a normal inner pressure. SOLUTION: After being set at a higher pressure than a normal inner pressure of a tire by a pressure reducing valve 5 placed on the outgoing side of a film module 1, N2 gas (nitrogen rich gas) is passed through an outgoing-side passage 4 and filled into a tire connected to the end of the passage. While N2 gas is filled in, the concentration of O2 (oxygen) contained in the N2 gas is measured by an O2 sensor module 11b, converted to the concentration of N2 gas, and passed through an amplifier 11c, and the concentration thereof is indicated in digital form by an indicator 11d. In measuring the concentration of N2 gas in a state where filling of the gas is finished, a hand valve 8 is opened, a 4-port valve 7 is switched to 'open' and immediately closed after gas in the passage is emitted into the air, the N2 gas in the tire is induced to the O2 sensor module 11b, and the concentration is indicated at the indicator 11d.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and speedily charge N2 gas into a tire by feeding the N2 gas filled into the tire with keeping its pressure at a value exceeding a specific value, and charging the N2 gas for inner pressure filling of the N2 gas after the pressure is adjusted higher than a normal pressure of the tire. SOLUTION: N2 gas is fed keeping its pressure at a value exceeding, 1,000 KPa, and the N2 gas is filled, for inner pressure filling of the N2 gas, after the pressure is adjusted at least 100 KPa higher than a normal pressure of the tire. When the N2 gas is filled after air in the tire is discharged, the tip of a passage 8 is connected with a gas filling valve of the rim combined tire to close switching valves 15a and 19 of the passage 8, and a switching valve 18 of a discharge route 17 is opened to operate a vacuum pump to discharge the air from the tire. By instantly closing the switching valve 18 and opening the switching valve 15a, the N2 gas fed through film modules m1, m2 is filled into the tire through the delivery side passage 8.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve deterioration of a side wall of a worn tire for a truck and a bus by a method wherein a surface of the side wall of the worn tire is treated with aqueous solution or dispersion solution which contains a film forming polymer and an ozone deterioration preventive agent, and the treated tire is cured by heating the treated side wall. CONSTITUTION:Suitable film forming polymers capable of being used include polyvinyl alcohol, NR, and SBR. Further, acrylic polymers are also appropriate. A suitable ozone deterioration preventive agent is N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'- phenyl-p-phenylenediamine. For a regenerating method, prior to executing a wheel tread on a ground tire outer cover, the wheel tread which has been cured by its wheel tread design is used. Then, a envelop or an air bag in a chamber or an autoclave is used, and the regenerated tire is cured at 60-100 deg.C while an inside of the bag or the envelop is being exhausted into the open air.

CONSTITUTION:The objective composite is produced by embedding (A) a steel cord produced by applying a non-ferrous metal plating to a steel cord and coating the outermost layer of the cord with cobalt metal in (B) a sulfur- vulcanizable rubber composition containing (i) 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber containing >=50wt.% of polyisoprene rubber (in the whole rubber component), (ii) 20-120pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler, (iii) 0-0.5 pts. wt. of a fatty acid and (iv) 0-0.5pts.wt. of an organic carboxylic acid cobalt salt (in terms of cobalt metal).
