Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pressure sensing device for a tire capable of specifying certainly a tire whose air pressure has dropped using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The air pressure sensing device for the tire includes sensors 12 mounted on a plurality of tires 1a-1d to be fixed to a vehicle for sensing various sorts of measuring data containing the tire air pressure, transmitters 2a-2d to transmit the measuring data sensed by the sensors 12, and a receiver 4 to receive the measuring data transmitted from the transmitters 2a-2d, wherein the transmitters 2a-2d mounted on the tires 1a-1d transmit the measuring data in a plurality of times at different intervals with the predetermined cyclic period. Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of inconvenience such as leakage of air from the inside of a tire even in the case where a rotary side rotates at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A housing 48 is mounted on an end of a nonrotational axle 10, and also a feeding coil 64 and a receiving coil 62 are mounted. A cylindrical housing 24 is mounted on a wheel 12, and a receiving coil 58 and a transmitting coil 54 are arranged on the housing 48 side and the housing and a circuit board 32A are arranged on the opposite side on a bulkhead 96 of the housing 24. A tip of a pressure sensor 36 is directly attached on a rim of the wheel 12 to detect pressure of the tire inside which is introduced via a hole 12B. Since the circuit board 32A is connected by a cable 110 consisting of a feeder which supplies power to the pressure sensor 36 and a signal line which transmits pressure detection signal, air of the tire inside does not leak even if foreign matter collides against the cable 110 to be broken.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the variation of the supporting height when spring constant is switched, by making zero the pressure difference between main and sub air chambers by permitting the both chambers to communicate through a pin hole. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 34 is formed from a lower cylinder body 20, upper cylinder body 24, and an elastic cylinder body 18. Said air chamber 34 is divided into main air chamber 34A and a sub air chamber 34B by a cylindrical wall 36. A communication hole 40 and a pin hole 38 are formed onto he cylindrical wall 36. The spring constant of the air chamber is switched by opening and closing the communication hole 40 by an opening and closing means 42. The both air chambers 34A and 34B always communicate through the pin hole 38, preventing the generation of a large pressure difference.
