Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which can realize a high hysteresis loss characteristic without deteriorating other physical properties such as fracture characteristics and elongation at break, and to provide a tire using the rubber composition.
SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises at least one rubber component selected from the group consisting of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, a graphitized carbon material, and a polycyclic aromatic compound having a crosslinkable group. In this rubber composition, the graphitized carbon material is preferably vapor-grown carbon fiber, and the content of the graphitized carbon material is preferably 0.1 to 100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized rubber composition that exhibits a good balance among various properties and, particularly, is excellent in mechanical properties and thermal conductivity by using a filler exhibiting high effects even with a relatively small added amount and exerting no bad influences on other performances such as dynamic properties.
SOLUTION: The vulcanized rubber composition comprises a rubber material as a base material and, incorporated as a filler therewith, a carbon fiber having a number-average grain size of at most 5 μm and a weight-average grain size of at most 20 μm in the size distribution as measured by a laser diffraction grain size distribution measuring apparatus. The content of the carbon fiber is preferably 0.01-100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously treat with an advantageous cost and to improve a treating capability by providing at least one annular segment to be engaged with suitable position of a pair of screws of a biaxial extruder. SOLUTION: An annular segment is disposed in a positional relationship for engaging a larger sectional radial part than sectional diameter of a screw shaft at least one position of a pair of screws in a screw segment structure of a biaxial extruder. A gap between rings engaged with each other, a gap between an outer periphery of the ring and an outer periphery of another shaft are set to a predetermined distance capable of giving a sufficient shearing force to the vulcanized rubber so that only a material flowed by sealing a channel of a material to be treated can pass. Even if the rubber becomes a fine particle state, the rubber cannot pass through an annular part, a process is advanced, and the material becoming an unvulcanized state is only advanced ahead. Thus, a continuous treatment with an advantageous cost can be achieved and a good treatment with high capability can be performed.

In this way, heat resistance is improved.
