Abstract: PURPOSE: To effectively stop harmful ghost light or flare light and to ensure observation of a good finder image by suitably determining the shape of an aperture of a diaphragm, which is installed in an objective lens. CONSTITUTION: An object image, which is formed on a primary image forming plane by means of an object lens L0, is reversed into a normal, erecting image by means of an image reversing optical member LP. Then, observation of an object image (finder image) of the normal, erecting image is carried out via an ocular lens LE at a pupil position (Q). Now, let the direction of an optical axis be a Z-axis, so that X-, Y-axes are set in a plane perpendicular to the Z-axis. Roof-edge line (D) of a roof-reflecting surface P2C is situated within the X-Z plane. The shape of an opening part of a diaphragm (S) consists of repeated, continuous (or discontinuous) waveform, comb-form, or a saw-tooth form, which lies in the X-Y plane and is symmetrical with respect to the X-axis. With this contrivance, harmful stray light can be stopped, and, even if the pupil position for the observation is moved in the vertical direction, the roof- edge line is not observed, thereby enabling the observation of a good finder image.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable a first photodetector system and a second photodetector system to accurately execute a multipoint range-finding action within an extremely wide viewing angle on an object side by using a short photoelectric conversion element array by making element lenses respectively constituting compound-eye lenses form the images of the mutually separated parts of the object corresponding to the element lenses on the object on photoelectric conversion elements. CONSTITUTION: By the element lens constituted of surfaces 2a and 2g (surfaces 2d and 2h), the image of one peripheral part A of the object is formed on the photoelectric conversion element 4a(4b). By the element lens constituted of a surface 2b and the surface 2g(surfaces 2e and 2h), the image of the central part B of the object is formed on the element 4a(4b). By the element lens constituted of a surface 2c and the surface 2b(surfaces 2f and 2h), the image of the other peripheral part C is formed on the element 4a(4b). Then, the first photodetector system 100a constituted of the compound- eye lens 20a, mirrors 3a and 3b and the photoelectric conversion element array 4a and the second photodetector system 100b constituted of the compound-eye lens 20b, mirrors 3c and 3d and the photoelectric conversion element array 4b are arranged at the interval of base length L.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable multi-point measurement at a wider angle by arranging two projection systems, main and sub, to prevent the lowering of projection efficiency and the far-near competition with a wider projection range of the sub projection means than that of the main projection means. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is made up of a main projection means which comprises a main projection lens 1 and a main projection element 2 having light emitting parts 2a, 2b and 22 and a dome-shaped part made of a synthetic resin and a sub projection means which comprises a compound-eye sub projection lens 3 and a sub projection element 4. The sub projection lens 3 is a compound eye lens which has two emission surfaces 3a and 3b and an incident surface 32 common in axis with the emission surface 3a and an incident surface 3d common in axis with the emission surface 3b and emits 3a and 3b a luminous flux emitted from a light emitting part 4a of the element 4 in a wider range (6 deg. or more of the angle in the direction of projection) than a projection range of the main projection means. Then, the reflected light of the light emitted to an object from the light emitting parts 2a, 2b and 22 is received with photodetectors 6a, 6c and 6d and the reflected light of the light emitted from a light emitting part 4a is received with a photodetectors 60a and 6e.
