    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an input device capable of preventing erroneous input from occurring even when touch is continued at the same position, and preventing the deterioration of a screen due to the touch of a selection mode repeatedly from occurring. CONSTITUTION:A touch type input device 10 is provided with a liquid crystal display 18 in front of a main body 15, and is provided with a touch pen 22 on the side surface of the main body 15. The liquid crystal display 18 is molded integrally by providing with a tough panel on a liquid crystal panel. A virtual key 23 is displayed on the liquid crystal panel, and key input can be performed by tocuhing with the pen tip 22a of the touch pen 22. Also, a mode switch 24 is provided on the tip side of the touch pen 22, and becomes the continuous input mode of a touching virtual key 23 when the mode switch 24 is being turned on by depressing, and the continuous input of the virtual key 23 is not made even by touching the key when the switch 24 is turned off.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the form of a prepared document from being fixed when words and phrases are connected one after another according to their relation by associating a word or phrase based on one word or phrase and inputting it, and freely inputting a word or phrase being the base the association. CONSTITUTION:A list of words and phrases associated is displayed as a menu 30 based on a document which is previously inputted. An operator selects a desired word or phrase when finding it in the menu and uses it as the word or phrase at the head of a next sentence, but indicates a 'next canidate' item 33 when not, to further display other candidates or indicates a 'relation' item 32 to display words and phrases associated from the words and phrases in the lift. Further, the operator can display a virtual keyboard by indicating a 'keyboard' item and input another word by utilizing it. In this case, words associated from the inputted word or phrase are displayed as a menu and the operation selects a desired word or phrase to be inputted to the document among them.

When the word is a verb. a 'conjugation' item 33 being an item for conjugating them is displayed with a candidate word. When the 'conjugation' item 33 is indicated, the conjugation of the corresponding verb is displayed and an operator keeps the indication of conjugating until a target conjugation appears. When the targed word is displayed, it is indicated to be defined and incorporated in a document being prepared.

CONSTITUTION:First a CPU 9 judges whether a key switch panel KY has generated a key entry signal-if yes, an appropriate process is taken, and if no, the CPU 9 judges whether the output of a measurement start switch SW has varied. If no change, return is made to the previous step, and if varied, key entry is prohibited, and a timer value is set by the CPU 9 on a timer 8, followed by waiting for the timer TM attaining the specified value. When attained, the temp. data is fed from a sensor SS, written in a memory MEM by the CPU 9, and displayed on a display DP by the CPU 9. Thereby precise data management is made which does not require any complicated process with data entry.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To output a voice by means of a regular natural reading method by specifying a character and a mark and executing a prescribed conversion processing. CONSTITUTION:When text data is voice-outputted, CPU 2 takes out data stored in a text memory (TXM) 1 as a character code by one character from the head and discriminates whether it is a numeric, or a mark having a specified form or a character except for the numeric and the mark. A code conversion part 2a converts the code of a numerical string having the specified form. Then, all the character codes being the objects of voice output are inputted to a voice synthesis part 3 and are converted into voice signals corresponding to the character code. The voice signal which is thus converted is outputted as an audible voice in a voice output part 7. Thus, a voice processor can voice output the character string by the regular natural reading method.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform the printing based on recording data without being affected by a scanning direction, by generating different pulse trains corresponding to the printing direction and rotary direction of a recording apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An encoder disc 5 has a plurality of slits different in a slit width generating a light synchronous signal and rotationally driven with the scanning movement of a main body 1. A trigger pulse generator 14 generates the transmitted light detection signal detected by the light receiving part of a photosensor 6, that is, the reference synchronous signal outputted to a printing head part 12 with the rotation of the encoder disc 5 to output the same to a CPU 11 and the CPU 11 executes the printing processing of recording data in synchronous relation to a successively outputted trigger pulse but reverses the processing order of printing data on the basis of a positive and reverse printing direction judge flow and sets printing timing to the rising of the trigger pulse in the case of usual printing and sets the same to the falling of the trigger pulse in the case of reverse direction printing to execute printing processing. Therefore, the printing processing of recording data can be executed without being affected by the scanning direction of the main body 1.
