Abstract: A fuel cell, comprising a fuel cell body, a liquid fuel storage tank storing a liquid fuel, and a fuel supply body connected to the liquid fuel storage tank, having a permeable structure, and supplying the liquid fuel to the fuel cell body. The liquid fuel storage tank further comprises a liquid fuel storage body having a cylindrical fuel storage container in which the liquid fuel is stored, a fuel outflow part with a fuel outflow valve installed on the underside of the fuel storage container and a following body disposed at the rear end part of the liquid fuel stored in the fuel storage container and moving according to the consumption of the liquid fuel, a storage box enclosing at least a part of the liquid fuel storage body through a space part around the liquid fuel storage body and closed at the rear end part, and a pressure gas sealed in the space part. Thus, the liquid fuel can be stably supplied, the loss of the liquid fuel in storage can be eliminated, the boiling and evaporation of the liquid fuel less occur even if the fuel is left in a high temperature environment, and the size of the fuel cell can be reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel container for flowing out stored fuel regardless of held posture of the container. SOLUTION: This fuel container 7 includes a container body 15 storing liquid fuel 10, and an outlet 9 for flowing out the fuel 10, and is so structured as to flow out the fuel 10 from the outlet 9 by introducing produced water produced in a fuel cell into an inside of the container body 15. In the fuel container 7, a high-viscosity liquid 11 is superposed on the fuel 10 while not containing air bubbles, and a space 60 surrounded by an inside wall of the container body 15 and the liquid surface of the high-viscosity liquid 11 is filled with a swelling body 17 swelling by absorbing the produced water. In the fuel container 7, the produced water produced in the fuel cell is introduced into the space 60 in the inside of the container body 15 by flowing through a flow passage 19. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for generating a three-dimensional image accompanied by coloring. SOLUTION: A slice image of a forming part comprising a forming powder layer 31 of a thermoplastic forming powder body Z is formed and transferred on a transferring belt 23. Then, an image corresponding to a non-forming part comprising a support powder layer 32 of a heat resistant support powder S is formed and transferred on the transferring belt 23. Furthermore, a forming part coloring powder layer 33 comprising various images of a magenta color developing bonding powder body M having thermoplastic weak bonding properties, a cian color developing bonding powder body C, a yellow color developing bonding powder body Y, and a removal part color developing bonding powder body layer 34 comprising an appropriate color developing bonding powder bodies M, C or Y, are formed to be transferred and superimposed on the forming powder layer 31 or the support powder body layer 32. The superimposed image is transferred to be fixed on a laminated stage 27 to form one layer of a fixing slice layer. The forming part is colored and strongly fixed, and the non- forming part is weakly bonded to be readily peeled off by welding of the removal part color developing bonding powder body layer 34. A colored three-dimensional image is generated by removing the non-forming part by laminating the fixed slice layers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet print head capable of efficiently discharging a heat of a driving element for driving an energy generating element to the outside. SOLUTION: In the print head 15, a heating element 18 is provided on a chip substrate 16 at one side in the longitudinal direction and an ink supplying groove 25 is formed thereon at the other side. A common ink passage 29 is formed at a portion between the ink supplying groove 25 and the heating element 18, i.e., the portion along the longitudinal direction of the central section on the chip substrate 16. Multiple drivers 17 are arranged just beneath the common ink passage 29 with a driver protection layer 22. The heat of the drivers 17 is absorbed by the ink passing through the common ink passage 29 and is discharged to the outside together with ink drops ejected from an orifice 28.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expendable cartridge high in the use efficiency of ink and a printing apparatus performing full-color printing without using complicated constitution such as repeated feed or the like. SOLUTION: An expendable cartridge 30 is constituted by housing the tape- like paper 32 wound around a roll shaft 31 in a paper housing part 33 and housing liquid color inks of Y, M, C and Bk in four ink chambers 35 (35a, 35b, 35c, 35d) of the ink tank 34 integrally formed to the paper housing part 33. When the expendable cartridge 30 is housed in the cartridge housing part 44 of a tape printer 40, the ink supply ports of the ink chambers 35 are engaged with the ink receiving and supplying ports of the head support part on the side of the tape printer 40. The paper in the expendable cartridge is fed to a paper discharge port 45 to be subjected to full-color printing by the printing head provided to the undersurface of the head support part and the printed paper is cut by a cutter mechanism.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ink-jet printer which replenishes ink without using a connecting tube by separating a printing head and an ink tank. SOLUTION: A printing head unit 2 has an ink hold chamber 13 with a slit-shaped liquid reception opening, and is connected by a flexible signal cable 7 to a control part of an apparatus main body. The printing head unit engaged with a linear rail 8 of a head-driving mechanism 3 is reciprocated in a main scan direction shown by an arrow A by a linear coil 13 at the time of printing. An ink tank unit 6 is fixed to a frame of the apparatus main body, having inside storage chambers 6-2a through 6-2e for storing ink liquids of yellow, magenta, cyan and black and a cleaning liquid. An ink-replenishing mechanism 10 of a bubble jet system connected to a liquid replenishment port is set to a lower face of the ink tank unit at a position outside a printing area. When the printing head unit 2 runs out of ink, the ink-replenishing mechanism 10 discharges the ink liquid via the liquid replenishment port at a position where the ink replenishing mechanism 10 is opposite to the ink hold chamber 13 and replenishes the ink to the ink hold chamber 13.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size carriage moving type printing apparatus capable of printing a multi-pass image of a high resolution without forming an excessive margin on the paper rear end part. SOLUTION: A printing head unit 31 moves reciprocally in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface according to a moving guide hole 75 so as to form an image (hatched portion of the rectangular diagram) on a paper 73 by two times of multi-pass printing in one main scanning width shown by a rectangular diagram provided below. In starting the print, vacant data are printed by the first nozzle to the (n/2)th nozzle, and actual printing data are printed by the (n/2+1)th nozzle to the last nth nozzle. From the next step on, while conveying a paper by P.(n-1)/2 (nozzle interval as P) by a feeding and conveying roller pair 74, print of the actual printing data by the first nozzle to the nth nozzle is repeated. Finally, the paper 73 is conveyed only by P/2. After printing vacant data by the first nozzle to the (n/2)th nozzle and the actual printing data by the (n/2+1)th nozzle to the last nozzle, the printing operation is finished. The paper has the rear end margin only by the distance K.
