Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set optimum input environment, to suppress wasteful power consumption and to improve an input operation when a processor is provided with a plurality of input devices. SOLUTION: A pen touch detection function is stopped (B15 to B18) when a state where pen input does not exist continues for not less than prescribed time and the input operation of upper/lower and push keys is detected at the time of performing a mail processing by the input operation using a touch panel or the upper/lower and push keys. Thus, wasteful power consumption with respect to the touch panel is suppressed by using the upper/lower and push keys and malfunction by pen touch can be prevented. At the time of reproducing music information by the operation of a remote control key, an icon for realizing a touch input operation corresponding to the remote control key is set on a picture (B22) if a pen is in the middle of operation (B19 to B21). Consequently, music information can be reproduced by pen-touching the icon.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flicker in a screen by preventing a light source from turning on/off even when illuminance of an external beam is changed alternately at nearly 1,000 lux in a short time when the light source is turned off, and a display is performed only by the external beam when the illuminance of the external beam is e.g. 1,000 lux or above, in a liquid crystal display device simultaneously using both of the beam from the light source and the external beam and performing the display. SOLUTION: For instance, when the illuminance of the external beam is changed from 1,000 lux or above to 1,000 lux or below at the point of time of t1, when the illuminance of the external beam detected by an illuminance detection sensor is 1,000 lux or below continuously till the point of time of t2 when a prescribed time elapses from the point of time of t1, the light source is turned on at the point of time of t2. When not so, the light source is left turned off.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently discriminate whether or not the different pieces of person-in-charge information inputted from plural terminals is the same. CONSTITUTION:A master MT has a table CHT for storing person-in-charge signature numbers, etc., inputted from each terminal PT. Each terminal PT has a memory CHM for storing person-in-charge signature numbers inputted from its own terminal and, when the master MT is normal, inquires the master MT whether the same signature number is set in the master or not. When the master is down, each terminal PT successively makes the inquiry to the other terminals by designating the terminals. When the master MT is restored from the down state, the master MT reprepares the table CHT by calling sign numbers from the terminals PT and transmits the signature numbers to the terminals after the terminals are restored from their down states.
