Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the self-illumination type key switch which is surely turned ON wherever of the key top is pressed and light in operating force and whose key top moves linearly by integrally forming the specific key top, a frame part, an arm part, a depression part and leg part in one body. CONSTITUTION:When the key top 1-a is pressed, the arm part 1-c deforms elastically, the key top 1-a moves linearly, and the depression part 1-b turns ON the switch 3. Further, when the opposite side of the key top 1-a from the switch 3 is pressed, the force which causes the arm part 1-c deform elastically is smaller than the force required to turn ON the key 3, so the key top 1-a rotates around the switch 3 downward to the right until the leg part 1-e abuts on a circuit board 4. When the key top 1-a is further pressed, the force required to turn ON the switch 3 is smaller than the force which makes the leg part 1-e deform elastically, so the key top 1-a rotates downward to the left around the leg part 1-e and the depression part 1-b turns ON the switch 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a camera small-sized and light-weight and to prevent a video floppy from being taken out during interval photographing by disabling an open/close cover to open with a tripod adapter fixed to the camera. CONSTITUTION:An adapter 1 is so constituted that a disk drive open/close cover 14 is covered with the adopter 1 at the time of setting it to a camera body 4. When the tripod adapter 1 is attached, the disk drive open/close cover 14 of the camera is covered. Thus, firm and large-sized attaching screws 13 are not required for the camera main body 4, and the camera is miniaturized. Since the disk drive open/close cover 14 cannot be opened by attachment of the tripod adapter 1, the damage of the tripod adapter 1 due to the operation force for replacement of a video floppy 16 is avoided, and the video floppy 16 is prevented from being taken out by carelessness especially during long-time interval photographing.

Consequently, the assembly into a finder structure body is improved and the intrusion of dust into between the lenses in and after the assembly is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent dust from sticking to a shutter mechanism and to keep the performance of a camera at high level by covering the rotating and sliding part of a shutter curtain and an electromagnet with a cover. CONSTITUTION:A CCD area sensor 1, a shutter mechanism consisting of restoring springs 10 and 11 which energize a 1st curtain 5 and a 2nd curtain 6 centering around a shaft 7 counterclockwise, some members for controlling the lock and release of the 1st curtain 5 and the 2nd curtain 6 and a stopper for stopping the turning of the 1st curtain 5 and the 2nd curtain 6 are mounted on a base plate 3. The electromagnets 20 and 30, the shutter mechanism and the incident surface of the CCD 1 are covered with the cover 4 and bound on the base plate. A filter 2 for adjusting the sensitivity of CCD is arranged on a position facing to the light incident surface of the CCD 1 and fixed to the cover 4. With such a constitution, the dust can be prevented from sticking to the electromagnet and the rotating and sliding part of the shutter curtain. Since the deterioration of shutter characteristics and the movement of the dust to the CCD are not generated, the performance of the camera is kept at high level.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous mounting of a ink cartridge by providing a protrusion on part of a cartridge crossing at right angles with the latter's mounting direction and forming a groove in which said protrusion is fitted in freely slidable fashion inward from the open edge of an opening. If an embossed ribbon 3a is fitted in a groove 15a in correct position, the former is set ON contacting the switch 16, then in 'standby position' for recording. In the meantime, if the embossed ribbon 3a is not fitted into the groove 15a, the switch 16 is not set ON, turning an alarm lamp ON. After this, if the ink cartridge 3 is correctly attached again, the switch 16 is to be set ON, turning the alarm lamp OFF.

Thus, the ink does not reversely flow to the ink jet head 211.

Further, the rotation of a sheet feeding and exhausting DC motor M2 is transmitted via gear trains 125, 126, 430, 429, 428, 427, 426, 425a to a gear shaft 425b, further transmitted through a clutch plate 417 to the gear 416a to elevationally reciprocate the drive lever 412 of a recovery pump 400 of a clog preventing mechanism through a gear 415. The other end of a clutch operating lever 431 presses the clutch plate by the operation of a solenoid SL2 to engage the gear 416 with the clutch plate 417.
