Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum modulated signal generating method and an apparatus thereof for generating a signal for spreading having less amplitude variation.
SOLUTION: In the apparatus for generating a signal for spreading used for a spread spectrum communication system, a spread code which is excellent in correlative property and has less amplitude variation as a spread code is sampled with one chip and one sample, and this is subjected to discrete Fourier transform to obtain spectrum. Band limitation processing is performed in a frequency band on the basis of this spectrum, the spectrum subjected to the band limitation processing is subjected to inverse Fourier transform to generate a signal for spreading, and spread modulation is performed by using the signal for spreading.
