Abstract: A hydraulic axial piston machine is disclosed, having an inclined plate (7), on which a slider shoe (9) of at least one piston slides on relative movement between a cylinder body (2) receiving the piston and the inclined plate (7), and a pressure plate (10) articulated on the cylinder body (2) and holding the slider shoe (9) in engagement with the inclined plate. It is desirable for such a machine also to be operable with a hydraulic fluid that has no lubricating properties. For that purpose, between the pressure plate (10) and the cylinder body (2) there is arranged a bearing element (18) with a bearing surface (19) of plastics material, which slides with low friction on a counterpart (15) made of metal lying against the bearing surface (19).

Abstract: A piston/slide shoe arrangement (1) of a hydraulic piston machine is disclosed, having a slide shoe (6), which is in articulated connection with a piston (4), with a friction-reducing plastics material (11) therebetween, wherein the plastics material, forming a channel (13), extends into a through-opening (12) in the slide shoe in a direction towards a sliding contact surface (7) of the slide shoe, which surface in operation lies against a swash plate (8). In such an arrangement, it is desirable when operating under adverse conditions to prevent the plastics material working its way out from the space between the piston and the slide shoe. For that purpose, the slide shoe (6) and the plastics material (11) are provided outside the through-opening (12) with at least one connecting element (16, 18) which takes up shear forces between slide shoe (6) and plastics material (11).

Abstract: A hydraulic piston machine is disclosed, with a cylinder body (1) and a control counter-plate (4) which engage one another via the intermediary of a control surface, the cylinder body having at least one cylinder which emerges by way of an opening (2) into the control surface, and the control counter-plate (4) has a high-pressure channel (6) and a low-pressure channel (5) which are connected to a high-pressure connection and a low-pressure connection (7) respectively and, upon movement of cylinder body (1) and control counter-plate (4) relative to one another, are passed over by the opening (2), the low-pressure channel (5) having a groove (9) at its end passed over first by the opening (2). It is desirable to be able to operate a machine of that kind also with a hydraulic fluid that has a relatively low viscosity. For that purpose, the groove (9), together with the opening (2), produces a directed jet (12) at least immediately after the start of their overlap.
